CLUB HISTORY & BACKGROUND

Hearts were a popular signing for Football Aid in 2001, the Jam Tart faithful lining up to take part in the event which saw legends Gary MacKay and John Robertson in action at Tynecastle. Club Ambassador, Alan McLaren made his Football Aid debut the following season and continues to be a regular fixture at the event, and has been joined by a host of Jam Tarts favourites over the years, including Stephen Frail, Jimmy Sandison, Scott Crabbe, Alan Lawrence, Steven Boyack and Dave McPherson.
