CLUB HISTORY & BACKGROUND

The Premier League giants hosted their first event in 2002, with fans flying in from all corners of the globe to pull on the famous red shirt and grace the Old Trafford turf. United Legends Brian McClair and Bryan Robson were onside to thrill the fans with their skills in that first game, while fellow Legends Denis Irwin, Lee Martin, Mickey Thomas, David May, Arthur Albiston and Clayton Blackmore have all taken part in our games since. Former Busby Babe and ex-Club Manager Wilf McGuinness became one of the first Football Aid Ambassadors in 2006 and is a regular feature at our games, shouting his encouragement from the first minute to the last!

The Manchester Utd Master Class event at Carrington on the 11th February was a huge success, with our participants enjoying the experience immensely and we'd like to send a massive thank you to Football Aid's new Patron Denis Law and Denis Irwin for their fantastic support at the event.
