West Ham Utd signed up with Football Aid in 2002 and the games have increase in popularity so much since that we now host two games at Upton Park each year. The Hammers Legends that have been on hand to encourage our lucky players on the day have included the likes of Ray Stewart, Tony Cottee, George Parris, Tony Gale, Alan McKnight, Mark Robson and Steve Potts.
The Club also hosted our first ever 'Celebrity Live the Dream' event in 2005, when a Football Aid 'All Stars' side tried their luck against a formidable Celebrity team including the likes of Steve Harris (Iron Maiden), former World Boxing Champion Colin McMillan, ABA boxing champion Tony Cesay, dub poet Benjamin Zephaniah and West Ham legend Steve Potts.
