Saturday the 10th of July 2004 was a momentous day for Tartan Army fans of all ages as Football Aid's first 'International Live the Dream' events kicked off at the home of Scottish football, Hampden Park. Held in association with the SFA and our sponsors BT Scotland, 4 matches took place and Scottish legends, Danny McGrain, Gordon McQueen, Gary McAllister, John McGinlay and Tosh McKinlay were all in action throughout the day. Since then we've continued to attract the big names with ex-Internationals like Paul Lambert, Darren Jackson, Alan Rough, Pat Nevin and Alan McLaren all getting involved.
Since 2007 the format for the day has changed slightly with the afternoon game now an International Challenge Match, this normally features a Scotland Home Team taking on a Rest of the World team.
AVAILABILITY FOR SEASON 2009
Unfortunately due to a potential change to the pitch allocation arrangements at Hampden Park we are not able to confirm availability of this event for Football Aid 2009 as yet. To be the first to be notified when we have further news please remember to Register on the website.
