CLUB HISTORY & BACKGROUND

Hibernian FC joined the Football Aid family in 2001, and continued to host events until 2004, Legends involved in those early games included Keith Wright, Mickey Weir, Gordon Hunter and Gareth Evans on the playing side and Lawrie Reilly, Jimmy O'Rourke and Tommy Preston who all Managed at our games. Season 2006 marked the successful return of Hibernian to the fold in what proved to be a highly enjoyable game at Easter Road.

RECENT EVENT UPDATE

Unfortunately for a number of reasons, including the substantial work carried out to build the new East Stand in 2010, the club haven't been able to host a Football Aid match in recent years. However as the club remain strong supporters of our organisation we remain hopeful that we might be able to host another event in association with the Club in the near future.
