CLUB HISTORY & BACKGROUND

The Hornets were part of our first full season of Events in 2001, with the game featuring two of the Club's biggest names; all-time top goal-scorer Luther Blissett and former Manager Kenny Jackett. There then followed a break in our matches until our much anticipated return to Vicarage Road in 2008. The match itself featured the management skills of former club hero Jimmy Gilligan and certainly proved to be worth the wait, featuring a goal of the season contender and having to be decided by a penalty shoot-out. Our 2009 match featured club heroes Les Taylor and Neil Price and also wasn't short on entertainment for the fans, with the impressive Away side running out convincing winners on the day.

SEASON 2012 AVAILABILITY

We ran a number of successful events in association with Watford FC between 2001 and 2010 and we'd like to thank the club for their excellent support in that time. However in 2011, for a number of reasons (with the financial viability of our games the main concern), we took the decision not to host an event with the club and at this time we don't have an event planned with the club in 2012.  

Although we don't have any events planned at this time we may well choose to engage with the club again in future, therefore to be the first to hear about news of any future Watford events please remember to Register on the website (if you’ve not done so already) and keep an eye on this page for updates as we get them.
