FIND YOUR TEAM:

Our Ambassadors

Football Aid has had the support of a host of footballing heroes over the years, starting with the grandfather of football, Sir Bobby Robson, coming onboard as Patron in 2001.

In addition Sir Alex Ferguson, Walter Smith, Rio Ferdinand, Ledley King, Gordon Strachan and Pat Nevin are just a handful of the big names to have taken time out to promote Football Aid. While footballing legends such as Ricky Villa, Ally McCoist, Gary Mabbutt and Bryan Robson have all played or acted as managers in our games.

In addition, we have started the process of creating a network of Club Ambassadors for Football Aid involving former players and well known celebrity supporters from each participating Club becoming representatives of Football Aid.

Each of our Ambassadors have been appointed because they have already demonstrated a commitment to Football Aid's work. They dedicate time and energy to us in a variety of ways: taking part in the events, organising other former players to play in the games, speaking to the media about Football Aid, or lobbying and raising money on our behalf.

The full list of Ambassadors is displayed on the Right Hand Side of this screen, just click on the names for details of their support for Football Aid.
