Brian Hall

‘Little Bamber' was appointed a Football Aid Ambassador in 2007, joining fellow fans' favourite Gary McAllister along with legends including Danny McGrain, Andy Hinchcliffe and Wilf McGuiness as a figurehead for Football Aid.

Formerly a compact and reliable midfield player, Hall is now Liverpool's Public Relations Manager and a firm fixture in the Football Aid events at Anfield, shouting encouragement from the sidelines, motivating sides to victory through rousing team talks at halftime and organising other former players to play in the games.

Speaking in season 2007 Brian described the importance of Football Aid's support - "There is a huge demand for Liverpool Football Club to engage with the regional community, involving coaching in schools, educational projects and social message campaigns. It is impossible to satisfy all of this demand but with the support of organisations like Football Aid, we can begin to meet more of these needs and enhance the opportunities and experiences of more children in the Merseyside area."
