In a highly successful career Graeme Le Saux made over 400 appearances at Left Back for Chelsea, Blackburn Rovers and Southampton. Career highlights included winning the Premier League title with Blackburn in 1994-95 and the UEFA Cup and League Cup in 1998 with Chelsea. He also made 36 appearances for England, appearing in all their games in the 1998 World Cup.
Graeme's involvement with Football Aid began in 2007, when he agreed to become an Ambassador for the RBS International Festival of Football taking place on his home turf in Jersey. Graeme also played in both matches over the weekend and acquitted himself pretty well by scoring a hat-trick in the Saturday match (read the match report here)! He was also guest of honour at the gala fundraising dinner where he regaled the audience with stories from his glittering career.
Graeme's a great advocate for Football Aid and he recently re-stated his committment to helping promote us in any way he can, and we look forward to working with him in the coming months and years.
